How it works

The application process for a work placement in Amsterdam is simple and easy. First, send your CV to the following address netherlandsinstitute@gmail.com and indicate " Professional internship in Amsterdam "You can also send us a message in the subject line with detailed information about your expectations of the internship.

Based on your application, the company will start looking for a placement for you, mainly companies in Amsterdam. When the company is found, you'll usually attend a video call to discuss the opportunities and agree on legal procedures.

Once everything is agreed, they will send you a visa invitation (if required) and you can then organize your trip to the Netherlands. On arrival, the company will meet you in your destination city, arrange accommodation, check-in and other formalities.

Requirements

There are no age, nationality or other restrictions. Everyone is welcome to apply for a work placement in Amsterdam! However, it's true that if you have a solid profile with higher education and good experience, more companies will be interested in inviting you for the internship.

If your profile is more modest, the choice of companies may not be too great. Nevertheless, it's possible for all candidates to find an interesting internship in the Netherlands!

Fees

The professional internship in Amsterdam is available in three options, with different fees:

  • Internship within the organization: 1,500 euros.
  • 3-month internship with accommodation in Amsterdam: 2,500 euros.
  • Internship with an external organization: 2,500 euros.

Each option includes training on arrival in Dutch business culture, mentoring during your internship, regular consultations and advice on internship progress, and a professional educational program to help you acquire new skills and knowledge needed in the job market. Accommodation costs 800 euros per month (shared accommodation).
