Express Entry: Invitations back on July 6, 2022

Many of you had asked when invitations and draws would resume under the Canadian immigration system". Express Input" . The good news is that Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, M. Sean Fraserhas just confirmed the resumption of invitations to qualified applicants for the permanent residence in via all relevant programs:

  • Skilled trades program
  • Skilled Worker Program
  • Canadian Experience Category
If you have already compiled your complete file before invitations were suspended due to the health situation, it is likely that you will receive the invitation to apply for your permanent resident card. Keep an eye on your e-mails and make sure you're well prepared in case you're among the qualified applicants.

For those who have not yet created their Express Entry profile, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible if you feel you meet the skilled worker requirements of the programs in question. The 6-month response period is still in effect.

As a reminder, the invitations for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) have been on hold since December 2020. Visit category invitations Canadian Experience Class (CEC) have been put on hold until September 2021.
