Each exam paper is graded by at least two markers to ensure fair assessment. Once this stage has been completed, the marks are forwarded to the school administration, where they are entered into the computer system.
Once all the marks have been collected and recorded, they are forwarded to the baccalauréat jury. The jury is responsible for verifying grades and awarding honors. Once validated by the jury, the results are ready for publication.

On the day of publication, results are posted in the high schools and on online platforms. Students can then find out their marks and honors, and whether they have obtained their diploma.

Step-by-step guide to viewing Bac results online
Viewing results online is a simple process, requiring just a few steps. Our platform Cyclades is the main portal where candidates can find out their results.
To view your results on Cyclades, start by logging in to your candidate area. Then navigate to the results section and enter your credentials. Once logged in, you'll be able to access your results as soon as they're published.
There are also other platforms where results can be consulted. These sites are usually updated shortly after the results are published on Cyclades. However, it is important to ensure that the site is reliable and secure before entering your personal details.
Step by Step to View Results on the Cyclades Platform
Cyclades is an intuitive platform where students can consult their results in just a few clicks. Here's how it works:
- Go to the Cyclades website.
- Select the "Results" tab.
- Enter your candidate number (found on your invitation).
- Click on "View results".
- Your results appear on the screen.
Other Platforms where Results can be consulted
In addition to Cyclades, students can also consult their baccalauréat results on the websites of their académie or the French Ministry of Education. It's important to note that all these sites are secure and respect the confidentiality of student data.
Frequently asked questions

- What should I do if I can't find my results online? Go to your lycée to check your results or contact your académie.
- What does "admitted" mean? If you see "admis" next to your name, it means you have passed your baccalauréat.
- What can I do if I fail my baccalauréat? If you are unsuccessful, you can take the make-up exams or re-enroll for the following year.
- What's the difference between a mention assez bien, bien and très bien? The grade is based on the overall average obtained. Assez Bien" is awarded for an average of 12 to 14, "Bien" for an average of 14 to 16, and "Très Bien" for an average of 16 or more.
- Can I contest my results if I don't agree with them? Yes, you have the right to request a copy of your exam paper and to contest the results if you think there has been a mistake. Contact your local education authority to find out how.
- Is repeating a year an option if I don't pass my Bac? Yes, if you don't pass your Bac, you can choose to repeat your final year.
- Can I take the Bac on my own? Yes, you can take the Bac on your own. However, this requires rigorous, independent preparation.

Rattrapages du Baccalauréat
Rattrapages, also known as second group exams, are a second chance for candidates who did not obtain the required number of points to pass their baccalauréat in the first group exams. These tests are an opportunity for students to improve their marks and, potentially, earn their diploma.
When and how do the catch-ups take place?
Catch-up exams generally take place a few days after the results of the first group are announced. They consist of a series of oral exams covering the main subjects in the student's curriculum. Each test lasts around twenty minutes, with the same amount of preparation time.
The choice of subjects to be retaken is determined by the student. He/she must choose two subjects from those presented in the first group, and generally those in which he/she thinks he/she can improve his/her grade the most are chosen.
Who is eligible to apply?
Catch-up exams are reserved for candidates with an overall average of between 8 and 10 out of 20 in the first group of exams. Candidates with an average of less than 8 are unfortunately disqualified, while those with an average of more than 10 pass.
What happens after the catch-up?
Once the rattrapages have been completed, the marks are quickly tallied and the final results published. These results determine whether the candidate has succeeded in improving his/her average to reach the pass mark for the baccalauréat.
If the candidate passes his or her rattrapages, he or she is awarded the baccalauréat, just like students who passed the first group of exams. If not, they have the option of re-registering to take the baccalauréat again the following year.
